Shaping young minds for a community-focused future

Thousands of students attend the 2018 Capricorn Careers Expo.

THOUSANDS of secondary students from the Rockhampton region and Capricorn Coast gathered at the CQUniversity Community Sports Centre to discover career opportunities at the 2018 Capricorn Careers Expo.

CentacareCQ Rockhampton attended the event to share their knowledge of the services and career opportunities available within the organisation.

CentacareCQ Senior Human Resources Officer Aimee Harding was one of a handful of volunteers informing high school students of the career opportunities within the community services sector.

Hundreds of students flocked to the stand to get a better understanding of CentacareCQ and it’s important role within the community; collecting informative brochures as well as getting their hands on merchandise including water bottles and groovy stationary.
