Successful turn out at Careers Information Day

CentacareCQ Career Information Day was a huge success.

ATTENDANCE numbers exceeded expectations at last week’s CentacareCQ Careers Information Day.

Held at their Emerald branch, the information sessions (held June 13 and 14) received a great response from potential job applicants looking to join the team.
Team leader – Identity and Employee Engagement Don Butler explained the day offered people the opportunity to find out more about CentacareCQ, get to know the team, the vision and values in which we hold and the opportunism for making a difference to the community.

“The Information sessions met our expectations around numbers but exceeded our expectations regarding participant enthusiasm and the number of ready to go ‘qualified’ participants” Don explained.

“We found all participants had many questions and all indicated they were excited by the prospects of employment with CentacareCQ.”

CentacareCQ team discuss the success of the Careers Information Day at Emerald.

Following the Information Day Don said CentacareCQ is now seeking applications and running an assessment day on Tuesday June 26 in Emerald.
“That day will commence at 8:45am for a 9am sharp start,” Don said.

“Applicants who make it through to the one-on-one interview stage will need to be available to stay on site until around 1pm.

“Anyone interested in applying will need to do so via the website here” Don said.

Walk ins and paper-based applications will not be accepted.
