THE CentacaerCQ Mackay team has seen many new staff join the team.

The organisation welcomes carers Jamie, Nita, Denise, Dhoris, Karen, Jacob and Jazmyne.

CentacareCQ continues to employ more carers to enable more flexibility and control to the clients.

In the world of Home Care Packages & NDIS

Senior case manager Kathryn Maker said the site was also in the process of employing another crew member to assist Ally in the Yard Maintenance team and a full time case manager in the office.

“We can offer a range of services with your Home Care Package so feel free to give me a call to discuss any needs that you may have and I will check if this can be done within Government Guidelines and within your Home Care Package budget,”Kathryn said.

“This may include but is not limited to spring cleaning, carpet cleaning, pesticide, allied health, yard maintenance and aids or equipment.”

Kathryn said CentacareCQ Mackay were currently in the process on conducting client reviews.

“I will be contacting clients with their review is due, but if but if and of our clients circumstances change and they are not due for a review, they can contact the office on 1300 523 985 and I will organise a day and time to meet with them.”

CentacareCQ Mackay currently has more than 30 Home Care Packages from Level 1 to Level 4 and are passionate about assisting people in the region.

In the world of NDIS, CentacareCQ NDIS plan officer Jodie is busy helping current participants with regular reviews and signing up new participants.

Anyone for Christmas in July?

Many Home Care Package clients who attended the 2018 Christmas Party suggested that CentacareCQ should do a Christmas in July luncheon.

Kathryn said the organisation is keen to see if there is any interest to hold this mid-year event.

“For clients who are interested in attending, We are asking that they let their carers know and put forward their suggestions of a place of where they would like to go, so we can start preparing,” Kathy said.
