Waves of fun at Beach Day Out
Posted on September 20th, 2019
A SEA of smiles filtered through Bell Park, Emu Park today in celebration of Disability Action Week.
Hundreds of Central Queenslanders gathered to the coastal town to explore the activities, opportunities and entertainment on offer at the annual Beach Day Out.
CentacareCQ was among an array of services offering information as well as a number of activities.
Family Relationships Centre administration assistant Chantelle Barber educated attendees with the Wheel of Wellbeing, while Regional Manager Community Care Services Monica Laws and other staff shared information on the organisation’s services relating to disability and family relationships.
“It’s been a fantastic turn out – bigger than last year,” Chantelle said.
Monica agree: “We’ve met a lot of fantastic people, all smiling and eager to find out more about how CentacareCQ can help them reach their goals.”
