White Balloon Day – National Chalk Drawing

CentacareCQ recently supported White Balloon Day, which raises awareness for child sexual trauma. We started Child Protection week with the White Balloon’s National Chalk Drawing competition. On Friday the 25th of September the Rockhampton team participated, and on Wednesday the 30th the Mackay team participated.

It was a great turn out, and wonderful to see so many staff, clients and family members participating in the event. The activity warmed our hearts and lifted our spirits. We even had requests to do these activities more often.
